JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - A Hurley man was arrested Thursday accused of attempted burglary at C & E Last Stop, according to Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd.
Byrd said 30-year-old William James Burnsed of the 8300 block of Coleman Homestead Road in Hurley has been charged with attempted commercial burglary.
Byrd said Burnsed was caught on C & E Last Stop's surveillance camera causing damage to the business.
He was transported to the Jackson County Adult Detention Center on a $5,000 bond set by County Court Judge T. Larry Wilson.
Byrd said Burnsed faces up to seven years in prison and a $10,000 fine, if convicted.
