MADISON COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Police in Madison say two Burger King employees were in on last week's robbery of a shift manager.

Madison police say the shift manager of the Burger King at 1874 Main St., was robbed at gunpoint in a bank parking lot. Officers responded to the Regions Bank on Webster Circle just before 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police say the victim was in her vehicle in the bank parking lot and was about to deposit money from the restaurant. The victim reportedly told police a teenager approached the driver's side of her vehicle, displayed a small handgun and demanded the deposit money. The victim said she complied with the request and the suspect fled on foot.

Gabriel Robertson, 22, was arraigned in court Monday. He is charged with armed robbery in the case. Judge Dale Danks set his bond at $1 million.

Investigators say two workers at the fast food chain -- Quandius Griffin, 21, and Mychael Griffin, 25 -- told Robertson where and when to commit the crime. They're both charged with conspiracy. And their bonds were set at $250,000.

A handful of relatives of those charged were in court. They claim they're innocent and don't know each other, except that the Griffins are actually cousins.

Preschery Brown, Gabriel Robertson's Grandmother, says he told her he didn't rob the manager.

"I think it's an inside job and they're trying to get somebody else to take the blame for it and I think they're trying to blame my grandson" Brown said.

A fourth suspect, Lakebra Tall, 19, was charged in the case, but she has been released.

The same Burger King was robbed in 2011. Police arrested a Burger King Manager, her brother and another teen after they found out it was an inside job.
