Car crashes into Simpson Co. house

SIMPSON COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Two people were transported to Magee General Hospital Thursday morning after a car crashed into a house.

According to the Simpson County Sheriff's Office, Bradley McAfee's vehicle crashed through a residence at 589 Zion Hill Rd., shortly before 9 a.m.

The man who lives in the home, Addie Rushing, was home at the time. Rushing and McAfee were transported to the hospital.

McAfee was charged with littering and reckless driving and transported to the Simpson County Jail after he was released from the hospital.

Fire crews and the gas company responded to assist with the crash and a ruptured propane tank.

Authorities haven't released details on how the crash happened or Rushing's condition.
