Weapons, drugs lead to 8 arrests in Hancock Co.

HANCOCK COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

Eight people have been arrested and nearly 100 weapons confiscated in a major drug bust in Hancock County.

Wednesday, four people were arrested on federal drug warrants and three others on state drug and stolen property charges. One other suspect turned himself in at the Stone County jail on Friday.

The investigation led law enforcers to three separate properties, where agents said they discovered approximately one ounce of ICE (methamphetamine) and nearly 100 weapons, including stolen firearms.

The persons arrested and charges are as follows:

-Jessey W. Bellais, 29, of Kiln, MS: Federal Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance

-William C. Bellais, 26, of Kiln, MS: Federal Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance

-Miranda Comfort, 21, of Kiln, MS: Federal Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance

-Justin Brown, 27, of Kiln and DeLisle, MS: Federal Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance

-Brennon Dedeaux, 18, of Kiln, MS: Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute, Hindering the Prosecution and Possession of Stolen Firearms.

-Heath Johnston, 33, of Kiln, MS: Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute.

-Christopher Butler, 34, of Kiln, MS: Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute.

-Steven Gentry, 29, of Poplarville, MS: Federal Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance

The Hancock County Narcotics Division, the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, the Department of Homeland Security Investigations and the Drug Enforcement Administration all participated in the arrests.
