JACKSON, MS (WLOX) -

Authorities on Monday morning captured an MDOC inmate who's been on the run since Friday. Forrest County Community Work Center inmate Micah Lee Bolton was found in an abandoned house in Beaumont, MS.

Friday, authorities said Bolton left his work detail at the Hattiesburg City Barn. He was serving a 4-year sentence for a delivery of a controlled substance conviction from George County. Bolton could receive an additional five year sentence, if convicted of escape.

Monday morning he was being transported to the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Pearl.
