Tishomingo County, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A Tishomingo County woman is dead after driving the wrong way on the highway.

The highway patrol says 78-year-old Sybil Haber was going west in the east bound lanes, when the car collided with Nanetta Shoemaker's vehicle, near Fulton Friday.

A child traveling with Shoemaker was airlifted to Lebonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis.

The 36-year-old driver and two other children were taken to a Tupelo hospital.

That accident resulted in another crash.

Troopers say a teenager swerved to miss the collision and ran off the road.

The teen had minor injures.

The crashes remain under investigation.
