JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson police have made an arrest and are searching for two more suspects in the attempted armed robbery of a McDonald's Thursday night.

Officer Colendula Green with the Jackson Police Department says the restaurant on Woodrow Wilson Avenue was held up just before 11 p.m. Thursday.

Police say two suspects entered the business wearing masks and displaying handguns. They demanded money from the registers and safe but somehow weren't able to get any, police say.

The suspects fled on foot.

As officers searched the area, they came in contact with Cynthia Stewart. She was arrested and charged with accessory after the fast of an armed robbery of a business.

Two suspects are still at large.

Jackson police say this is the third fast food robbery this month. Last month, there were a handful more.
