D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) - A Gulfport woman is under arrest, charged with shoplifting, after the case was featured on our WLOX Crimestoppers Report. But police are still looking for the man they believe helped her steal more than $700 in merchandise from Target in D'Iberville.
Megan Michelle Martin, 24, is charged with one count of felony shoplifting. Investigators said the crime happened back in July. But last week, police released surveillance pictures of the pair and asked for the public to help identifying them.
WLOX News featured the couple on our weekly Crimestoppers segment this weekend. Now, just days later, investigators say they cracked the case thanks to help from viewers.
Megan Martin is currently being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $20,000 bond. Corderro Lavon Martin is still at large and the D'Iberville Police Department holds a warrant for his arrest.
If you have any information that could lead to the arrest of Martin, call the D'Iberville Police Department at (228) 396-4252 or Crime Stoppers at (877) 787-5898, or visit www.mscoastcrimestoppers.com.
