PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - An accident on the Pascagoula River Bridge Tuesday night sent three people to the hospital, one with life threatening injuries.
Around 7:40pm, troopers responded to the two vehicle crash in the eastbound lanes of I-10. Investigators said a silver Toyota Camry, driven by Jeremy Branning, 43, had struck a red Nissan Frontier, driven by Wayne Savell, 75. Both men are from Pascagoula.
Savell and his wife were taken by Acadian Ambulance Service to Singing River Hospital with minor injuries.
Branning was taken to USA Medical Center with life threatening injuries. As of Wednesday at noon, he was still in the ICU in serious condition.
This crash is still under investigation, however investigators believe alcohol was a factor.
