JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

A second bank robbery suspect has been captured in Jackson County. Authorities have been searching for Donald Olin Landrum Jr. since around 9:30am, using K9 units, officers on foot, and a helicopter in the air.

The search centered on the area near Hwy 63 and Interstate 10 in Moss Point. That's where a couple driving a green Dodge van was pulled over by Gautier police. The vehicle matched the description of a getaway vehicle from a nearby bank robbery.

According to Ocean Springs police, a woman entered The First bank in Ocean Springs shortly after it opened Friday morning. She handed the teller a note demanding money, and witnesses said she made the gesture that she could possibly have a weapon.

About 30 minutes later, during that traffic stop, both occupants got out and tried to run away from officers. Heather Landrum was stopped and arrested. Donald Landrum got away until about 4pm when authorities finally caught up with him.
