Outlets of MS to host 2-day job fair

RANKIN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

More than 55 Outlets of Mississippi retailers will be on hand to interview potential store employees when the new shopping destination hosts a two-day job fair October 5-6, 2013.  Interested candidates should bring multiple copies of their resumes to pass on to outlet retailers in attendance. 

The job fair will be held in the Clyde Muse Center at the Hinds Community College Rankin Campus from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. October 5 and noon until 5 p.m. October 6.

    A news release from Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson says a deputy shot and killed an armed suspect on Lake Vista Drive. According to the sheriff, deputies went to the neighborhood off Canal Road at 5:58 Monday night. They reportedly went there for a follow-up call involving a stolen car case from earlier that day.  "A deputy discharged his weapon and the suspect was transported from the scene to a local area hospital" where he later died, the sheriff said.
