LONG BEACH, MS (WLOX) -

People young and old from all over the Mississippi Gulf Coast have gathered at the Harper McCaughn Town Green on Jeff Davis Avenue in Long Beach for the 3rd Annual Long Beach Festival.

The family friendly event offered something for everyone. A Kiddie Land was available for the kids while there was great music of all genres, rides, street vendors, a large car show, and a karaoke contest held for kids and adults. Exhibitions and performances were also on tap for the event by talented youth from all over South Mississippi.

The festival, which was free of charge, opened its doors Friday evening and will continue through 10 pm Saturday evening. All proceeds will go to the Long Beach High School Band.
