CLINTON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Clinton police have three suspects in custody they believe are responsible for a string of home break-ins this summer.

Clinton police arrested Lakendall Watson, 18, and charged her with receiving stolen property. Officers also arrested Laquin Pittman, 20, and charged him with burglary. Police say they're each being charged in connection with five house burglaries.

A 17-year-old juvenile was also arrested and charged with armed residential burglary.

Police are also looking for a 19-year-old Brittany Wilson as a person of interest in this case. Police say the group of burglars were caught when their car, loaded down with stolen items, broke down. Officers were already in the area responding to another burglary call.

Investigators believe the group could be responsible for breaking into up to 20 homes since May.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Wilson, call Clinton police at 601-924-5252.
