BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Biloxi Police are reaching out to the public, hoping for tips that will help them cage a "Blackbird." That's the nickname for Brian Earl Wiggins. The 30-year-old is wanted in connection with the August 11 shooting death of Donald Morris, 59.

According to Biloxi Police Investigator Steve Schlicht, that warrant was issued after an investigation and collection of evidence. Schlicht said several tips that included valuable information were also submitted from witnesses and citizens.

Schlicht said Wiggins is 5'9" and weighs 180 lbs. He's the second suspect in Morris' murder. The first to be arrested was the wanted man's cousin, Demetrius Tyrone Sparkman. Sparkman was charged with murder and is being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center without bond.

If you can help investigators find Brian "Blackbird" Wiggins, call the Biloxi Police Department at (228) 392-0641, the Criminal Investigations Division at (228) 435-6112, or Crime Stoppers at 1-877-787-5898. You may also text your tip in anonymously by texting "CSTIP" plus your tip to 274637 (CRIMES). Tips are also collected online at mscoastcrimestoppers.com.
