JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A Hinds County judge ordered 58-year-old Billy Ray Jordan to serve 15 years after he pleaded guilty to multiple charges including armed robbery, house burglary, kidnapping and attempted sexual battery.

The Jackson man will be eligible for release from prison at the age of 72.

In August 2011 Jordan attacked a 17-year-old girl who was alone at her Jackson home in the middle of the day and talking on the phone to her boyfriend.

Hinds County District Attorney Robert Shuler Smith says the boyfriend heard the girl's screams and called 911.

Raymond police responded within minutes and found Jordan hiding in the bathroom of the home.

Jordan was apprehended in possession of a broken firearm, knife, roll of cord and a mask. Authorities say he used the mask in the attack.
