CARTHAGE, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A man entered the restaurant off Highway 16 in Carthage Aug. 12 at approximately 7:50 a.m. and ordered a pizza. The man was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

When the employee turned her back and walked away, the suspect went around the counter and grabbed the employee's purse that was sitting on the counter.

The suspect then fled on foot.

He's described as a black male, approximately 5'10" to 6' and 175 pounds. He has a mustache and possibly a goatee.

If you have any information on this man, call Cartage police at 601-267-8011 and 601-267-8012.
