MADISON COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Nolasco Idisro Eugenio, the man charged in the grisly death of his neighbor, is being held without bond in the Madison County Jail. He was denied bond during a Thursday appearance in Madison County Justice Court.

Forty-three year old Eugenio is accused of using a machete to kill Alphonzo Rosas, who lived next door to him at a mobile home park near Canton. Madison County Sheriff Randy Tucker says Rosas was nearly decapitated.

The sheriff says the two had been arguing over some land, and the placement of a fence. He also says Eugenio is in this county illegally, while Rosas was an American citizen.
