BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - On Tuesday many Biloxi residents attended the Biloxi City Council meeting to listen to results from an impact study done on the proposed minor league baseball stadium in Biloxi.
Consultant Charlie Johnson told city council members he projects $34 million in direct and indirect spending from baseball and a projected 4,300 attendees per game.
Johnson said he believes the gaming industry is worried about the Biloxi market becoming stale.
He said, "If you do nothing, you are at risk."
Johnson also said he expects revenue to pay for a $21 million debt service.
