JPD officer involved in accident

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

JPD Officer Colendula Green confirmed an accident occurred around 4:15 p.m. Saturday involving another police officer. 

The accident occurred at the intersection of Old Canton Road and Parkway Drive.

According to investigators, a vehicle pulled out in front of the patrol car.

The unidentified precinct four officer was transported to University Medical Center.

The extent of her injuries have not been released.

Green said she is listed in stable condition.

No other injuries were reported.
