Man charged with murder in Wisteria Dr. shooting

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A man has been arrested and charged with murder in the shooting death of 22-year-old Sherrod Vaughn early Tuesday morning.

Anthony Watson, 23, was arrested Thursday. He's scheduled to be in court Thursday.

Jackson police officers found Vaughn lying in a front yard in the 2000 block of Wisteria Drive shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday. 

He had been shot multiple times.  He was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center where he later died.
