JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Interstate 20 in Jackson has reopened after a truck fire Thursday afternoon.

All lanes of I-20 eastbound at the stack were shut down shortly after 2 p.m. after a truck caught fire.

According to Public Affairs Officers Eric Henry with the Mississippi Highway Patrol the driver said he noticed smoke coming from the rear left tire and pulled over. The driver then discovered the truck was on fire.

No one was injured in the incident. The driver is from the Hazlehurst area.

Pearl police officers and the Jackson Fire Department were on the scene.
