MADISON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Two puppies rescued by Madison Ark took flight Tuesday to their new loving home.

Pilots N Paws Pet Rescue Services -- a volunteer organization -- offered to fly little Eda and Aretha to Seattle free of charge to meet their new family.

The puppies were found along with another puppy near the Jackson Medical Mall on the Fourth of July. They were very sick and malnourished but are now on the road to recovery.

Captain Dave Morris will take the pups to their new hometown, and although it's going to take a few days, he says the extra long flight is worth it.
