Anna Bee dies at age 91

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

For 55 years, she directed the Hinds Community College Hi-steppers.

Tuesday many of those former hi-steppers remembered Anna Bee for how much they loved her, and for how hard she worked them.

Bee, the long time Director of the Hinds Precision Dance Line died Tuesday morning at the age of 91.

Bee started the Hinds Hi-steppers Program and led it for more than five decades before retiring in 2007.

Her husband, Alon Bee, who preceded her in death, was a beloved WLBT employee for many years.
