CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Truck bumper theft

FLOWOOD, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A weekend theft at Flowood junkyard was caught on surveillance video.

The video shows a man pulling up to the gates of Quality Used Parts Sunday afternoon around 4:30. The business is located on Highway 468.

The man went through the woods to gain access to the property.

The owner of the business believes the man knew exactly what he wanted. The video shows him pulling the bumper off a 1999 Lightning Ford pickup. The man even brought a tool kit.

The man may be linked to another crime on Casey Lane. That person was driving an older model black or maroon Expedition.

If you have any information, call the Flowood Police Department at 601-932-5401.

Christmas, it is the season to be jolly. It seems that everybody is on the streets as we count down the days for Christmas shopping.
