Let's be honest, figuring out what to do on Friday can be tough. But downtown Biloxi wants to make it easy for you. They're putting together a family event complete with live music, an energetic football pep rally and raffles. Area businesses will offer drink specials and tail gate parties. Gallery 782 will host a special artist opening. Be sure to wear your favorite team jersey colors for high school, college or pro.

Whether you compete in fishing tournaments or not usually you'll get to see some pretty unusual fish. At the Carl Legett Memorial Fishing tournament you can expect it. The fishing tournament is being staged at the Point Cadet Marina behind the Golden Nugget Casino in Biloxi. Anglers from all over will be competing for cash. Children get a chance to compete during a fishing rodeo on Saturday from 8 to 10 a.m. There's going to be food, drinks, goodie bags and bait for children participating in the rodeo. Plus there's a bikini contest at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.The event wraps up on Sunday with a shrimp boil from 1 to 5 p.m.

Head over to Pass Christian this Saturday for a festive night. From 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. there will be open houses at shops and restaurants in downtown Pass Christian. Music will fill the air while the eateries and stores offer specials and refreshments. Plus earlier in the day from 8 a.m. until noon the Pass Market will be selling fresh produce, art work, plants and more.

Plant Beach Contempo Spa invites you to their Back 2 School Bash on Saturday. The fun starts at 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Children will have plenty to do including games, music, face painting, pet adoptions and more. Food will be provided. The first 100 attendees will get a gift bag packed with goodies. Attendees are asked to bring five canned goods.

Watch sailboat racing at the Pass Christian Yacht Club for the Leukemia Cup Sailing Regatta. The weekend long event features a golf hole in one, a party and auction. Goslings Rum and E&J Gallo Winery will provide the drinks and food will be made by the yacht club. Starz band is scheduled to perform live.
