Half-naked man has late-night cold one at Clinton restaurant

CLINTON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Clinton Police are holding Gordon Jenson after he was found in a restaurant drinking beer in the early hours of Monday morning.

Jenson, who was barefoot with no shirt, set off a burglar alarm when broke into 303 Jefferson. He knocked over a few tables and chairs, drank some beer, and tried to leave through the back door when police arrived.

Chef and co-owner Raymond Jackson says the alarm company called him at around 4 a.m. and told him someone was in the restaurant. When he arrived police had apprehended Jenson.

Jackson said Jenson was in his restaurant Friday and he had a conversation with him.

Jenson is still behind bars and no bond has been set.
