Rain will factor into your Saturday plans

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

The WLOX 24/7 Weather team predicted rain would be a factor on Saturday.  Sure enough, rain is already falling in Biloxi.  And a lot more rain is moving toward the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

The picture from Kim Beaugez may be what many of us see this weekend.  Dark skies and occasional lightning could dampen our outdoor plans.

    An effort to increase safety and reduce emergency response time in Biloxi is officially underway. The project that will come out of the ground at a cleared site in Woolmarket will provide a blanket of security for an area of Biloxi that previously didn't really have one.
