FL man accused of shoplifting at Biloxi Walmart

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

A Florida man was arrested Wednesday accused of shoplifting at a Biloxi Walmart.

According to Biloxi Police Investigator Nick Sonnier, John Immanuel Jenkins Jr., 27, of Pensacola, FL faces a charge of felony shoplifting.

Sonnier said Jenkins is accused of stealing $700 worth of store merchandise.

Jenkins was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. He is being held on a $50,000 bond set by Judge Albert Fountain.

According to Sonnier, shoplifting items more than $500 is a felony that carries up to, but not to exceed a five year sentence.
