VICKSBURG, Miss. (AP) -

A Vicksburg teenager, accused of fatally shooting her stepmother and fleeing the county, has been denied bond.

The now 17-year-old has completed a court ordered mental evaluation.

She has been held without bond at the Warren County jail since December of 2011 when her bail was revoked.

Alicia Michelle Vega,32, was found shot in the head in the kitchen of her Vicksburg mobile home on May 2, 2011. Her then 14-year-old stepdaughter was reportedly seen driving away in Vega's 2002 Dodge Durango.

The teenager was later found in Greenville.
