South Mississippi is filled with fun activity this weekend.

Change up your movie watching and bring the family out to Cinema By the Shore. You'll be watching "Journey 2: Mysterious Island". Be sure to bring a lawn chair and blanket. In case of rainy weather the movie will be viewed under the Barksdale Pavilion.

Listen in on stories around a camp fire at Gulf Islands National Seashore Visitors Center in Ocean Springs. Park rangers and interns will be telling stories. Attendees are asked to share stories also and bring marshmallows and a flashlight.

Moss Point is also holding movie night. Moss Point Main Street Association invites you to watch the movie "Brave" outdoors at Riverfront Park. The movie and the popcorn are free. Attendees are asked to bring a blanket and a lawn chair.

See a variety of competition, showmanship and entertainment at the Fourth Annual Gulf Coast Black Rodeo this Saturday. Rodeo events include bull riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, saddle bronco and team roping. Seasoned Cowboys from all over the country have been practicing to compete in the show that's considered "The Baddest Show on Dirt".

Santa Claus and Christmas music isn't only for the month of December; he's making a special stop at the West Harrison County Civic Center for a fundraiser themed: Christmas in July and benefiting the Pink Heart Funds. Girls Night Out is putting on the event and they've gathered 30 coastal vendors for your shopping convenience. This fundraiser features a summer fashion show, door prizes and silent auction. There's also a well-crafted tapas and dessert menu that's made up of ganache, scones and tortes.

Listen to the uplifting sounds of gospel music at Gospel palooza in downtown Bay St. Louis on Saturday. Gospel choir St. Rose de Lima will be performing along with God Speed 3, Sherri Hill and several others. The event includes a live auction, raffles and an art walk. Food will be prepared by Starfish Cafe and Williams Pit barbecue. All proceeds benefit PNEUMA Winds of Hope and Starfish Cafe.
