Family, friends and loved ones paid final respects to Pearl firefighter Dwayne Harris Tuesday morning. Mourners gathered at Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon to say their goodbyes.

Funeral services for Pearl Battalion Chief Dwayne Harris were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. with burial following at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

Chief Harris served in the Pearl Fire Department for 35 years and was also a co-owner of Sign Mark in Pearl.

The Pearl Fire Department provided a full honors procession to the cemetery. Harris' "Final Run" traveled south on Woodgate Drive to Highway 80, then westward to Floral Hills cemetery.
