The crash of Asiana Flight 214, the first court appearance of the Boston Marathon bombing suspect and Gov. Rick Perry's decision to not seek re-election made headlines this week.

(RNN) - A Boeing 777 crashed while landing at San Francisco International Airport on Saturday.

The tail of Asiana Flight 214 from South Korea clipped a seawall and caused the plane to crash, killing two and injuring more than 180. The two deceased victims were teenagers from China. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.

Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev appeared in court for arraignment Wednesday, pleading not guilty to 30 federal charges. It was his first public appearance since his arrest in April.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry said he would not seek re-election in 2014. Perry has been governor since 2000 when George W. Bush left office to become president.
