Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove says a truck driven by 28-year-old Tommy Ashby, Junior of Chalmette, Louisiana, was heading westbound on Highway 90 at a high rate of speed. The driver lost control and hit a tree near the intersection of Beach Park Drive.

Police were called to the scene around 1:45 a.m. Sunday Morning.
