HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - A convicted felon from Moss Point was arrested Saturday after he was reportedly caught throwing a firearm out of his vehicle during a traffic stop, according to the Harrison County Sheriff's Department.
Harrison County Sheriff's investigator Michael Shaw said officers reported seeing 39-year-old Samuel Williams Jr.toss a firearm from the vehicle.
He was charged with possession of a firearm after felony conviction.
Shaw said Williams was arrested and taken to the Harrison County Jail. He is being held on a $15,000 bond set by Judge Albert Fountain.
