BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Charles Rhodes of Woodville, AL struck it big Tuesday afternoon. He hit a jackpot of $1,503,288 in the statewide progressive Wheel of Fortune Super Spin at the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi.

"This is my wife Debra's favorite machine and we always play it," said Rhodes.

According to Hard Rock officials, the grandfather of six and recent retiree was traveling in the south and decided to visit the casino for fun. But after 10 minutes of playing the slot machine, Rhodes won the jackpot.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Biloxi's Senior Vice President of Gaming Operations Joe Farruggio said, "We couldn't be happier. This truly shows that Hard Rock Biloxi is the place Winners play; we pride ourselves in providing great food, great music and a great place to win that leads to the ultimate experience that is Hard Rock Biloxi. I think we have truly provided that."

Rhodes marks the third multi-million dollar jackpot to hit at Hard Rock in Biloxi.
