WLOX Editorial: Attention Dish Network subscribers

I would like to take a moment to address our viewers who watch us through the Dish Network system. On August 1st, there is a chance our signal will be removed from the Dish Network system due to a lack of an agreement between Raycom Media, that owns WLOX, and Dish Network corporate.

First of all, I'd like to apologize to these viewers for the inconvenience they may face of not being able to watch us. I'd also like to say thank you for your loyalty.  I know many of you are quite passionate about possibly not being able to watch our news, WLOX newscasters and ABC and CBS shows.

You have choices. WLOX still has agreements with other carriers and WLOX is free over the air if you have an antenna.

If you would like to call Dish Network and express your concern about possibly losing WLOX from your channel lineup, you can call them at 1-800-823-4929.

You're paying to receive the WLOX signal. If WLOX is removed, ask them for a credit or rebate.

That's our opinion, we would like to hear yours. Email your thoughts to editorials@wlox.com, or post your comments below.
