JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Narcotics agents with the Hinds County Sheriff's Office arrested two men after seizing drugs and weapons at a residence on La Salle Street.

HCSO spokesperson Othor Cain says deputies seized 3 1/2 ounces of crack cocaine, one ounce of powder cocaine, marijuana and two weapons Wednesday afternoon.

Venson Mix, 31, and Jonathan Prior, 25, were arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute while in possession of a firearm.
