JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A second teen has been arrested and charged in a fatal shooting that occurred during a possible carjacking and kidnapping Tuesday night.

Andrea Lowe, 17, was arrested Friday morning and charged with capital murder and aggravated assault, according to Officer Colendula Green with the Jackson Police Department.

The body of 22-year-old Orlando Morment was found off the Interstate 55 Frontage Road near Elton Road Wednesday afternoon. Jackson police recovered a vehicle involved in the case Wednesday night.

Another teen was arrested in the case Wednesday.

Diallo Vaughn, 17, is also charged with capital murder. He was denied bond Thursday. Vaughn's family attended the initial appearance and said the murder happened during a drug deal gone bad.

"If he have to do a little time but he's not going to do all of it and he wasn't the one who shot the young man. He seen what she did and turned him in I brought him down here so I think her parents need to come down here and turn her in," Vaughn's mother said.

They also said he is innocent and that a female shooter was responsible. They're pleaded for her to turn herself in.

Orlando Morment's family members say he was kidnapped during the carjacking Tuesday night at a north Jackson apartment complex. Family said he had been shot multiple times before a woman took the car with Orlando Morment inside.

Family members said another victim of the carjacking, Deangelo Morment, was able to escape. The family said Deangelo Morment was shot twice. He is said to be in stable condition.

Jackson Police Officer Colendula Green said the shooting happened sometime after 10 p.m. Tuesday at the Cedarstone Apartments, located at 5600 Keele St., just off I-55.

Police say they've received multiple versions of what happened.

Wednesday, family members gathered consoling each other and searching for answers as to why their loved ones were targeted. Orlando's brother Kendell says the carjacker was a female.

"A vehicle pulled up beside a girl, hopped out jumped in the car on the back seat.  Next thing they heard was shooting.  My cousin Deangelo hopped out of the car and took off running.  They got him and took him to the hospital.  My little brother he also got shot and he was in the passenger side.  The girl that did the shooting.  She hopped in the car with him and took off," said Kendell Morment.
