UCLA beats Mississippi State for CWS Championship title

OMAHA, NE (WLOX) - Mississippi State needed to win Tuesday night in the College World Series to keep the team's championship hopes alive, but the Bulldogs just couldn't make it happen. They lost to UCLA 8-0.

Tuesday's game against UCLA was the first elimination game for the Bulldogs since the regionals where they had to face Central Arkansas three times in Starkville.

The Bruins didn't lose a game since making it to the postseason, and only gave up one run to Mississippi State in Monday night's game.
