Fourth suspect in Tyler motel homicide arrested

From the Tyler Police Department:

On June 25, 2013, Broderick Lavar Smith was arrested by Tyler Police Investigators at the Police Department around 4:00 p.m. Smith was the fourth remaining suspect that investigators were working on obtaining an arrest warrant for Capital Murder. 

Investigators have still not located Michael Tekielleon Browning, B/M, 09/30/1978, of Tyler, who is the only suspect still at large on this Capital Murder case.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Browning please contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833).  Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.

    The Mississippi Highway Patrol is looking for a driver who ran away from the scene of a deadly crash in George County. Three children were killed in the crash. Troopers said a green 2003 Kia Optima was heading east on Highway 198, east of Depot Road, shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday.
