VICKSBURG, Miss. (AP) -

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace says he's ready to start the legal effort to shut down a bar where a man was gunned down.

The man killed in the early Friday shooting at the Starlight Lounge was identified as 27-year-old Willie Swartz of the Vicksburg area.

Three people have been taken into custody in connection with the shooting, which happened in the gravel parking lot of the lounge on Warren County's Lee Road.

Pace said he plans to meet with the district attorney Monday in hopes of getting a court order to close the Starlight Lounge.

The three people charged in the case are 19-year-old Jarvis Jones, 23-year-old DeAnn Sims and 25-year-old Markita Turner.

Jones, who's charged with murder, apparently got into an argument with Swartz, left to get a gun and returned to the parking lot.

Sims and Turner are both charged with accessory to murder.

Pace said deputies have been called to the bar 21 times since January 2012 for disturbances that include shots fired and fights.
