VICKSBURG, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Twenty-two year-old DeShaun Grissom was due in Vicksburg Municipal Court Thursday morning for arraignment on armed robbery, auto theft and kidnapping charges.

He's charged in the robbery of Aaron Halford, at his office early Wednesday morning.

Halford says shortly after 7 a.m., he opened the door after a knock. It was a man dressed in a lady's wig, shades and a bandana. He forced his way in at gunpoint and demanded cash and valuables.

Halford says after he was robbed, his hands were bound with wire and the suspect left in his 2005 GMC Yukon. The suspect also got away with cash, a cell phone and jewelry.

The stolen vehicle was located a few blocks away, and police were soon able to identify the suspect as Grissom. He was arrested at a relative's house Wednesday evening.

Police say Grissom tried surrounding himself with three pit bulls that were in the backyard of the residence but was arrested after being tased.

An undisclosed amount of cash was recovered at the time of the arrest.
