ADAMS COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A fugitive out of Adams County has turned himself into deputies and faces numerous charges.

Adams County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer Courtney Taylor says Jon Adams was wanted on a grand larceny charge. Adams, joined by his lawyer, surrendered to deputies Thursday afternoon at the sheriff's office.

Deputies say Adams and a coworker, Randy Morrison, stole more than $3,000 worth of merchandise from their employer, Stine, in Natchez. Morrison has also been arrested.

Adams is charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, grand larceny and three counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
