HINDS COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Hinds County Sheriff's Office unveiled its newest crime fighting and educational tool this weekend.

The Hummer was seized from a Hinds County drug dealer and has been turned into a moving billboard carrying Sheriff Tyrone Lewis' message "Together We Can Do Better."

According to the sheriff's office's Facebook page, the SUV will be used as an educational tool for Hinds County youth. The Hummer has been equipped with audio and video equipment to use during demonstrations.

"Sheriff Tyrone Lewis wants this vehicle to take a B.I.T.E. (Building Integrity Through Education) out of crime," according to the sheriff's office.

Several local auto and electronics stores contributed to outfitting the SUV, according to the HCSO.
