Bond for murder suspect set at $100,000

GAUTIER, MS (WLOX) - The woman accused of murdering her husband Saturday made her initial appearance at the Gautier Municipal Courthouse Monday. Judge Jason Thornton set Krystal Kersey's bond at $100,000.

The Moss Point woman allegedly killed her husband Justin Stork by running him over with her car.

Kersey told Judge Jason Thornton she is in the process of hiring an attorney. Kersey's mother spoke to WLOX after the initial hearing.

She said her daughter was a victim of domestic violence and has had problems with depression. However, Gautier police say they have no record of any domestic issues in Gautier.
