Former high school coach charged with touching a student

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - A former girls high school basketball coach in South Mississippi now faces new allegations of inappropriate conduct with a student.

Pearl River County authorities have charged Leslie Danielle DeWitt with touching a student for lustful purposes. Sheriff David Allison told WLOX News this most recent charge stems from an incident that happened off-campus in May 2012.

Allison said at that time, DeWitt worked as a coach at Pearl River Central High School.

Less than three months ago, we first told you about Dewitt's arrest in Hancock County for sexual battery of a different student. We're told Dewitt bonded out Thursday.
