1pm Update-Landfall expected soon with Tropical Storm Andrea

Tropical Storm Andrea is moving into the Big Bend area of Florida, dumping lots of rain and producing high winds through the sunshine state. Up to 10 inches of rain may occur in isolated pockets along the storm's path. Most areas in Florida affected by Andrea could see three to six inches of rain. A storm surge of 2-5 feet is also expected. Sustained winds are at 60 mph.

For South Mississippi, it looks like we will have rough seas offshore courtesy of Andrea. In fact, a Small Craft Advisory is in effect in the offshore waters until 7pm.

As a frontal boundary approaches South Mississippi, expected scattered showers and thunderstorms to pop up, especially in the later afternoon hours. Rain chances will decrease as we head into the weekend.

We will have your full forecast on WLOX News at 4, 5, 6 & 10pm on ABC and WLOX News at 4, 5, 6:30 and 10pm on CBS.
