Tropical Storm Andrea moves across northern Florida

Tropical Storm Andrea continues to move inland over northern Florida tonight, and away from South Mississippi. Overnight, the storm will continue moving up the eastern seaboard with wind and rain spreading well ahead of the center.

At 7pm, the National Hurricane Center placed Andrea at 29.8N, 83.0W or about 45 miles west of Gainesville, FL.

Andrea had maximum sustained winds of 50 miles per hours, and was moving northeast at 15 miles per hour.

As for South Mississippi, our rain chances will decrease as we head into the weekend.
