Here are some ideas to satisfy those "GIANT" appetites and sure to leave your Super Bowl guests "RAVEN" about what you served. Don't forget basic food safety.
Keep hot foods hot and cold foods cold.
Wash your hands often.
If you make a large amount of food, only put reasonable amounts of it out at a time to keep it safer longer.
SAUSAGE FRENCH BREAD DIP
1 loaf French bread, hulled out
(save pieces to dip with)
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 lb. Mild bulk sausage
(scrambled and drained)
1 small can green chilies
1 (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar
Mix all ingredients with cooked sausage, stirring well. Pour into hulled out French bread loaf and top with a little more grated Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350F for 1 hour, covered in foil. Toast hulled out bread pieces for dipping. Can also use corn chips to dip.
½ cup mayonnaise
½ cup sour cream

1 (15 oz.) can Mexican corn
1 bunch green onions, chopped
3 cups grated cheese
Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Refrigerate. Sprinkle top with paprika and serve with crackers or chips. Serves 20
Pop your favorite kind of popcorn as you normally do, be it microwave, air popped or in a popcorn popper. Place popped kernels in a large bowl. Sprinkle with one of the following:
Dry salad dressing mix such as ranch or French onion
Powdered fruit drink mix
Place lid on bowl. Shake until kernels are covered to your satisfaction. Enjoy!
