ELLISVILLE, MS (WDAM) -

A 27-year-old machine shop employee from Ellisville is one of 15 competitors who will take part in season 3 of CMT's Redneck Island.

Brandon Keys is back on his job at Wansley Machine & Driveline Service after spending several weeks taping in Manzanillo, Mexico. Redneck Island is a reality-competition series where individuals try to win a $100,000 grand prize.

It's hosted by former pro-wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin. Keys isn't allowed to say how it all turns out, but he hopes South Mississippians will watch him and the other competitors this season.

"You got teams that you are a part of...if your team wins a challenge, then your team is safe from elimination," said Keys. "If the other team loses, then they go to Steve's House and they have to send somebody home. Definitely, set your DVRs, record it, set and watch it and help support a Mississippi boy," he said.

The show debuts Wednesday night after the 2013 CMT Music Awards.
